Multi-drop parcel delivery
Rounds run to your service standards and scanned start to finish, with carry-forward and returns brought back to the unit the same day.
Final mile delivery partner
Mercer Logistics puts vetted drivers, insured vans and on-road management on parcel rounds for delivery networks. You give us the routes. We cover them and we answer for them.
A delivery network doesn't need another agency sending unfamiliar faces to a depot gate. It needs the same driver on the same round, loaded on time, scanning correctly, and back at the unit with the carry-forward the same evening.
That is the whole of our business. We recruit the driver, check them, contract them, put them in an insured van with fuel and equipment, and stay contactable while the round runs.
When a driver goes off sick, covering it is our problem, not yours. When a depot needs two more vans by Friday, we recruit for them instead of explaining why it cannot be done. Our management came off the road and off the depot floor, so the answers you get are the ones we would want in your position.
We are based in Surrey and currently run in Surrey, East Sussex and Greater London. We take on new depots wherever a network needs capacity.
Everything between your depot door and the customer's hands. No warehousing and no brokerage, so nothing competes with the part of the job you are paying us for.
Rounds run to your service standards and scanned start to finish, with carry-forward and returns brought back to the unit the same day.
Named drivers held on fixed rounds so they learn the area and the customers, backed by recruitment that runs continuously rather than only when a gap appears.
Holiday, sickness and short-notice cover, arranged on our side so the allocation you booked is the allocation that turns up.
Additional vans and drivers built up in the weeks before peak, with named drivers on fixed rounds and weekend rotation handled by us.
Our drivers run insured vans with fuel and equipment supplied, so a booked route is never sitting at the depot waiting on a vehicle.
Advertising, screening, checks, contracts and induction, with records kept in order and produced whenever your audit team asks for them.
The things that decide whether a round goes out on time are unglamorous. These are ours, and they are in place before the first parcel is scanned.
Experienced multi-drop drivers, recruited through job boards, driver networks and local referral. Background checked, right to work verified and licence checked, with a six-point ceiling and an interview before any round is offered.
Vans supplied with fuel and insurance included, each carrying its own fleet reference so we know which vehicle is with which driver on any given day. Condition is photographed and recorded at every handover, which keeps damage discussions short.
Handsets, mounts, hi-vis and delivery kit issued against a signed receipt and logged to the driver. Nobody starts a round short of what the job needs.
A director who answers the phone, seven days a week, and lead drivers on site through build-up and peak. Escalations reach a decision maker rather than a queue.
Fully insured, with certificates supplied on request and a client named on the policy where a contract requires it. Every driver signs a contract for services, a data protection undertaking and a health and safety induction before their first day.
Our base is in Surrey. These are the areas we are working in today, and the list grows with the contracts we take on.
Distance is a recruitment question, not an obstacle. Give us a depot outside these areas and we will advertise locally, screen and onboard for that site the same way we did for the ones we already run.
Four stages from first call to steady running. Most partners are through the first two inside a week.
Tell us the depot, the number of rounds and the date you need them running. You get an honest answer the same day about what we can cover and when, from the person who will manage the work.
Business documents and insurance certificates across to your compliance team, rates and payment terms agreed in writing, driver IDs raised and site inductions booked.
First drivers start on the agreed rounds and are trained on your systems. Vans are added week by week to the schedule you have set, rather than all at once and badly.
Performance tracked driver by driver against your own reporting, with gaps covered before they become failed deliveries. If something is going wrong, you hear it from us first.
Mercer Logistics Limited is a final mile delivery partner based in Surrey, working with parcel networks on multi-drop rounds.
Our management has worked in UK multi-drop parcel delivery since 2019, first delivering rounds and then running driver teams and depot operations for national carriers. That is where the standards on this page come from. We have sat on both sides of the depot conversation and we know which promises a partner can actually keep.
The company was set up to do one thing properly: supply reliable drivers on parcel rounds and keep them there. We have no warehousing arm and no freight desk pulling attention elsewhere. Every hour goes into recruitment, compliance and the people driving your vans.
We are a small, hands-on operation by design. You deal with a director rather than an account team, and the person who agrees the work is the person who fixes it when a driver goes off sick on a Saturday morning.
We would also rather turn a depot down than take rounds we cannot cover properly. A partner who says yes to everything is the one leaving parcels on the floor in December, and networks remember that a lot longer than they remember a straight answer in September.
The points that usually come up on a first call, answered here so the call can be about the routes instead.
We are a final mile delivery partner. Parcel networks allocate us rounds, we put vetted drivers and insured vans on them, and we manage those drivers day to day. We do not run warehousing, freight or brokerage.
We are based in Surrey and currently run in Surrey, East Sussex and Greater London. We take on depots anywhere in the UK. Where we are not already working, we advertise and recruit locally for that site.
Once IDs and site inductions are arranged, first drivers can normally be on the road within days, with vans added week by week after that. Give us the number of rounds and the start date and you will get a straight answer about what is realistic.
Fully insured, including public liability, employers' liability and goods in transit. Certificates go over with our onboarding pack and can be supplied at any time, and we can name a client on the policy where a contract requires it.
Background check dated within three months, right to work verification and a licence check with a six-point ceiling, followed by an interview. Drivers then sign a contract for services, a confidentiality and data protection undertaking and a health and safety induction before their first round.
Yes. Our drivers run insured vans with fuel and equipment supplied, so a booked round is not left standing because a vehicle did not turn up. Where a network prefers to supply liveried vehicles, we work that way too.
We cover it. Holiday and sickness cover sits on our side of the agreement, which is the reason most networks use a partner rather than contracting drivers directly.
We invoice against rates agreed in writing before the work starts, on your standard payment terms, and we work with self-billing arrangements where a network operates one.
Send the depot, the number of rounds and the date you need them running. You will get a reply the same day from the person who will be managing the work.
